False Friends

Finding friends who will accept you being a sex worker can be difficult. Sometimes we miss the red flags or ignore them, when someone comes along who doesn’t take issue with our work, because a lot of us are lonely. These false friends fall into certain archetypes.

Sexual Autopilot

I’m sure it’s not strictly true that I can’t have sex without slipping into what I think about as my “sex autopilot” mindset. For now, I seem to slip into it often, and it destroys my romantic relationships.
